* How to use Fun: Fun is used two different ways in English.
Fun is mostly used as a noun. Specifically it is a non-countable noun. Fun means enjoyment or pleasure. When we use fun in this way we usually use it together with the verb ‘have’. Ex: I hope you have fun watching my English lessons.
In informal English fun can also be used as an adjective to describe something that brings enjoyment and pleasure. Ex: Speaking English is fun.

*How to use Funny: Funny is an adjective that has two different meanings.
Funny is most commonly used to describe something humorous that makes us laugh. Ex: That joke is funny. Haha!
Funny can also be used as an adjective to describe something that is strange, weird, odd, or difficult to explain. Ex: I have a funny feeling about this. What’s that funny smell?

It is important to understand the differences between fun and funny so that you can use the correct word. This lesson will also take a look at somethings that can be both fun and funny. For example, my friend is fun (I enjoy spending time with her) and she is also funny (she makes me laugh).
