Evel Knievel was a larger-than-life daredevil and stunt performer, who defied death in numerous reckless feats, and paid the price through pain. Knievel set a new world record for most bones broken in a single human body, and he went on to live another several decades after the record was set! By the end of his life, Knievel was racked with constant pain from injuries to his spine and elsewhere. But Knievel himself wasn't the only person who suffered from his unconventional impulses.
