On 9 January, Phil Hogan, Member of the EC in charge of Agriculture and Rural Development, went in The Hague where he participated in a Citizens' Dialogue with Carola Schouten, Dutch Deputy Prime Minister; Minister for Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality. The discussion focused on various aspects of Dutch and European agricultural policies and the role of the EU, such as climate goals, agriculture and nature, and the position in the market. Questions ranged from how the CAP can ensure that existing sustainability measures will be strengthened to how young farmers can be better supported in their work.This video shows the entire Citizens' Dialogue, including the Q&A session.
