A hungry western marsh harrier is cruising silently over a lagoon. With a wingspan of more than four feet, it is the largest species of harrier in the world. The water below offers plenty of small waterfowl as prey. The duck dives to safety to escape the attack. Each time the duck comes up for air, its tormentor is waiting.
