Save your old Soda Bottles and turn them into super cute apple snack packs for the kids.. or the Big Kids! Reusable, recyclable and a great way to kill some time on the weekend!
Tuesday May 9th is Teacher Appreciation Day (though we should appreciate teachers ALL the time!) and these apple snackers are the PERFECT DIY project to celebrate.
Materials:
-2 clear palstic water bottles
-red and green paint
-Green cardstock
-Yarn
-Zipper
-Hot glue
-Xacto knife
Steps:
1. Cut the 2 empty water bottles using the xacto knife and take the bottom half.
2. Paint the bottles and let it set
3. Measure the zipper around the bottle and trim.
4. Glue the zipper on the outside of the bottle.
5. Cut a leaf shape and glue on top of the pouch
There's always an upside and there's always a downside but let's all agree to focus on the Sweeter Side!
