As many of you know, the upcoming Lionsgate take on POWER RANGERS was recently pushed back 8 months from its original release date. In a recent interview with IGN, director Dean Israelite talked about his impressions of the script saying the following: "I read the script and was really surprised by it and thought there was a really cool, contemporary, mature but still playful, buoyant and fun take on the material, and was updated in a really interesting way. It had this wonderful character that’s essential to going on a fantastic adventure. I was instantly drawn to it.” POWER RANGERS is now set to hit AMC Theatres on January 13th 2017.
