London Coe is the founder of Peace on Fifth, a compassionate commerce gift store that refocuses the conversation about our participation in modern-day slavery. After reading about modern-day slavery and wanting to help end it, London asked herself: "How am I helping this problem grow?" "How can I become a part of the solution?" The answers led to the creation of Peace on Fifth and the discovery of how to buy slave-free products.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
