Back at the Lilongwe Wildlife Centre, there’s chaos when blue monkey, Indigo, escapes from her enclosure and runs circles around the animal care team. Eventually she lets down her guard and Mandy manages to catch her.

The team at the Lilongwe Wildlife Trust in Southeast Africa is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating injured and orphaned animals, ensuring they get back into the wild where they belong. Malawi is one of the poorest countries in Africa and resources are scarce, so the team has to make do and improvise.
