Gioia Gottini is a certified life & career coach who works mainly with women, helping them focus on their skills and talents. She also supports women in starting their own business. As a coach and an expert on personal branding, networking and self-marketing, she has published 2 books, is regularly featured on women's magazines and is a contributor to cpiub, an on-line community for self-employed, creative women. Her latest development is a recurring event called D-days, featuring workshops and hang-outs supporting female entrepreneurship. She is also the founder of Rete al Femminile, a network for Women Entrepreneurs based in Turin.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
