Colmar is a picturesque town located in the Alsace region of northeastern France, close to the border with Germany. It has a rich history dating back to the Roman times, and is known for its well-preserved medieval and Renaissance architecture. Colmar is a popular tourist destination, with attractions such as the Unterlinden Museum, the picturesque "Little Venice" district, and the annual Christmas market. It is also known for its excellent wine and gastronomy, and for being the birthplace of artist Bartholdi, who designed the Statue of Liberty. The town has a population of around 68,000 people and is known for its high quality wine production and thriving tourism industry.
Our guided walking tour is about 3.12 miles (5 km) long, starts at Jeanne d'Arc Square, ends at “Little Venice” district and covers most attractions and historic sites of Colmar.
