According to The Hollywood Reporter, just prior to beginning his shot on the upcoming film THE BIG SHORT, actor Christian Bale suffered an injury tearing his ACL. The injury hasn’t thrown this film off schedule due to the fact that Bale’s role has no physically demanding elements to it… however… Bale’s next scheduled film, THE DEEP BLUE GOOD-BYE has been postponed by Fox Studios due to the injury since the role would require a large amount of physicality. James Mangold was set to direct the thriller, which also featured GAME OF THRONES star Peter Dinklage and Nicola Peltz. Buy or sell that Fox will still make THE BIG SHORT with Christian Bale as the lead?
