A GROUP of street kids in India are showing the leaders of the world's economy how to do it - by setting up their own successful banking system. The bank, known as the Children's Development Khazana (CDK), was set up and is run by homeless children in the Fatehpuri neighbourhood Old Delhi, India. There the youngsters - all of whom have to go to school in order to use the facilities - can safely store the small sums they earn from informal jobs. The award-winning scheme is fast helping bring the impoverished into the 'mainstream'.
