The Himba tribe, placed in Namibia, celebrates the first menstruation of every girl.

When his first period arrives, his father takes off the vegetable bracelets on her body and she's now prepared for getting married and having sex.

Polygamy is allowed on Himba society, so girls and boys can have as many sexual partners as they want, but they will only get married with the one the family decides.
