Disney Pictures has just bought the rights to a new take on the Jack And The Beanstalk fable called BEANSTALK written by Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul creator Vince Gilligan. Gilligan’s story is being developed into a screenplay by one of his Breaking Bad writers, Thomas Schnauz, who previously won 2 Emmy awards for his work on the series. Gilligan’s role in the film is unknown at the moment, but it’s widely assumed he will produce the feature. Does the idea of a Gilligan created BEANSTALK film at Disney sound appealing to you?
