It's a once in a lifetime opportunity! Throwing out the first pitch in a Yankee's Baseball game, running a leg carrying the Olympic torch...ringing the bell at the NY Stock Exchange!
As Best Friends Animal Society ushers in a new era in New York City, they were honored with an invitation to ring the opening bell at the NYC Stock Exchange on Thursday, December 18, 2014.
Best Friends has had a presence in New York City for the last five years where they have held successful Super Adoption and Strut Your Mutt events in support of local Network Partners. But more recently, Best Friends has started an adoption and foster program in conjunction with NYC Animal Care and Control. The new program will help save more lives and keep New York on track to become a no-kill city and that’s definitely a bell-ringer!
