Artist Uses Palms as a Canvas

An artist uses palms as canvases.

Hands are usually used to create art.

One talented female Russian artist is turning the tables, using the palms of a hand as a canvas for gorgeous, unique works.

Using watercolors, she uses a palm to make fairy-tale inspired paintings. One of her artistic completions depicts 'The Little Mermaid'.

The top of the fingers serve as the dark blue sky. Moving downwards to the middle of the extremities, the skyline turns a beautiful purple color. Straight across the palm, the ocean takes form.

Intricate waves cover the natural wrinkles of the human hand. A mermaid sits gracefully on a rock staring off to the side, accentuated by the full sun residing right behind her serene figure.

Another palm painting features a princess staring outwards on a starry night. While the moon cannot be seen, its glow seems to reflect solely on the lady as she stands on the balcony.

Each captivating image is rich in details and the painter's sheer talent clearly comes through.
