Surviving in the African savanna requires wit and guile. Especially for two of its hunters: African wild dogs and Dwarf mongooses. These two enigmatic species live in packs and rely on well-coordinated teamwork to succeed. From looking after youngsters to finding food and warding off enemies. Both species rely on their tight-knit families to overcome the challenges of everyday life. These are two of Africa’s killer packs. A punishing drought is ravishing the region – so the families must work more closely than usual. To make matters worse the wild dog family has lost their dominant female.
