ANSWER TO "KILLER SNAKE OR MONSTER WORM?"

Ok, I think we have our answer!
yesterday I posted a video showing this weird creature we spotted trying to cross the river in Guyana not too long ago.
Steven Andries said it was a snake, but Steve Townson believed it to be a worm of some kind.
I wasn’t sure what to think so I asked you guys to help me identify it… and oh boy, you guys did not let me down.
In the first ten hours I received over 1200 comments, and in all those comments were a lot of folks who knew what this was! Pretty Amazing…
Anyway, I got the answer right here and the answer is… you ready…
It’s not a snake… and it’s not exactly a worm either… it is what is known as a black-and-white worm lizard
here’s the scientific name which I am not going to try to pronounce…
According to Wikipedia, it can grow up to 12-18 inches or 30 0 45 centimeters
It inhabits Amazonian Forest Areas and spends most of it’s time underground…
So what this guy was doing out swimming the river in the middle of the day, I have no idea…
but there you have it — the mystery creature has been identified and its a worm lizard….
