The world knows Orchard Road ! It's the main shopping and tourist thoroughfare in this island city. Every city has such an iconic road and this is a must go in Singapore. New malls, old malls, hotels big and small, underground train stations and offices ...they are all here for you to discover. Orchard Road is best seen with a slow walk from one end to the other. The day and nite scenes are different and the ambience overwhelming. In fact the most overpowering thing is the endless flow of human traffic! Locals, foreigners and office workers trong to this important road. And just like in cosmopolitan  Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur,  this famous road is also a meeting point or landmark  for foreign housemaids in Singapore. They spend their off days here to shop and get together for church . For sure, Singapore's Orchard Road is filled with spots to sit and rest and without doubt the whole road  always seems clean and safe.Min around...do some window shopping...snap a selfie or just people watching...Orchard Road is a haven for all to experience every day! For those with a keen eye, you will spot some interesting art installations, impressive advertising and street performers .So put on your walking shoes and head on to Orchard Road for a discovery tour!
