2. /t/ is used for unvoiced sounds, most commonly used if the letter before the -ed ending is p, f, k, x, s, sh, c, or ch. Ie: Brushed, Stopped, Laughed, Cooked, Fixed, Kissed, etc
3. /d/ is the more common way to pronounce -ed. Use this pronunciation if the sound before the -ed is a voiced sound. Ie: Cleaned, Loved, Called, Enjoyed, etc.
