( ) The Land Rover LR2 has been updated in 2013, but the vehicle is getting long in the tooth. The replacement is on the way and it is the 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport. The word is that the 2016 Discovery Sport is based on the Range Rover Evoque platform and will share power and drive trains. The test mules ere had the Eco engine start-stop system enabled, so they were virtually silent at the traffic light. These prototype are wearing a lot of camouflage, yet the over shape is unmistakably Land Rover (with a healthy doze of Range Rover added in).
