On the recent first drive in Key West John shows us around the interior of the all-new Buick Cascada, a purpose built Buick convertible that was designed from the ground up to be a driver focused fun to drive new car.

The only choice Cascada shoppers will have to make when buying a new car is whether they want the light or dark interior. The Cascada’s perforated leather seats are an exclusive for GM and the front buckets feature electric motors that push the seat forward and bring it back into place when the seat back is tilted forward, making it much easier for occupants to get in and out of the back seat. Inside the driver focused interior features clearly laid out display complete with Buick’s intellilink infotainment system and well as driver aids like lane keep assist.

Under the hood the Buick Cascada is powered by a 1.6 Liter turbocharged EcoTec four cylinder engine sending power to the front wheels via a six speed automatic gearbox. The 2016 Cascada also features GM’s HiperStrut front suspension that allows for more power to be sent through the front wheels and create a more capable fuel-efficient vehicle. Starting at around $33,000 the 2016 Buick Cascada is quite nicely priced in its segment.
