2013 Audi S6 Luxury Sports Sedan Review

The 2013 Audi S6 is considered a luxury sports sedan since it packs a twin-turbocharged V-8 engine, standard Quattro AWD, and a number of other performance upgrades. The base price on this car is $71,900 but the price can swell closer to $90k once you tack on optional packages and accessories. Even though the S6 is a performance tuned version of the A6, it doesn't really scream speed on the outside unless you know to look for the S-Badging.Under the hood lives some serious hardware designed to create serious speed; the kind that can get you into trouble very easily. The engine is a twin-turbocharged 4.0 liter V-8 that makes 420 horsepower and 406 lb-ft. of torque. 0-60 MPH happens in 4.6 seconds thanks in part to the Quattro AWD system and the 7-speed S-Tronic transmission. Out back there is a sports rear differential that makes sure power if put to the pavement.On the inside the diamond-stitched premium sports seats are the first indicator that the 2013 Audi S6 is a real performance machine. As you would expect from a $70k car this machine is loaded with features and content. A BOSE audio system is standard but for just $5900 more you can upgrade to a Bang&Olufsen Advanced Sound System that includes 15 speakers and 1300 watts of pure joy.
