Mercedes-AMG - The testing instruments of the model year 2000 E 55 AMG registered 260 kW (354 hp) for the 5.5-liter V8 engine after the facelift. But it was mainly the powerful torque of 530 Newton meters that led experts to call the engine strong as an ox. An acceleration time of 5.7 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h confirmed this assessment.
