WATER TRICKS
Fill one shot glass with water and another shot glass with whiskey. Place a plastic card over the water glass so it won’t spill and place it on top of the whiskey glass. Slide the card enough to create a tiny gap between the glasses. Wait about 10 minutes and the whiskey will be on top and the water on bottom. Water is heavier than whiskey so they naturally trade places when a gap is provided.
Take a bottle of tonic water and put a black light up to it and you will see it glows vibrantly. Tonic water contains phosphors which react to black light causing it to glow.
Take a plastic or mesh screen and rubber band it around the neck. Pour water into the bottle through the mesh, cover the mesh and flip it upside down and remove your hand. Don’t worry it won’t spill. Take some toothpicks and push them through the mesh. You may get a drip or two but the water won’t spill and the toothpicks will float up to the top. The cohesive properties in the water bond to the mesh preventing it from spilling.
These are easy, safe, and fun to do at any party or event. Science rules and you will be the coolest person at the party thanks to science. Try these at home so you look like you know what you’re doing when you attempt to show off to your friends! ; )
