生田神社／神楽「生田舞」

神楽「生田舞」とは、昭和 40 年に、 順徳院の御製歌
「秋風に またこそ訪はめ 津ノ国の 生田の森の 春の曙」
後鳥羽院の御製歌
「月残る 生田の森に 秋更けて 夜寒むの衣 夜半にうつなり」
の歌に、宝塚音楽学校の竹内平吉氏が曲を付け、同校の 藤間小勘二氏が振付けた新しい舞です。 作曲・振付が関係者だけに、宝塚歌劇のイメージが色濃く感じられる舞です。舞手は女性ですが、通常の 紅白下襲に千早を羽織った巫女姿ではなく、緑の直衣に黒の長烏帽子といった男装で舞います。
