Seeking Justice Behind Enemy Lines: Daniel Walker at TEDxChristchurch

Daniel Walker is the founder and Executive Director of Nvader, a New Zealand initiative to combat human trafficking around the world.

Daniel was a detective in the New Zealand police and has over 20 years of experience as a criminal investigator. He received his Master's Degree in Third World Development, eventually working exclusively for 4 years to investigate and infiltrate the sexual exploitation of women and children across the globe. His efforts resulted in the rescue of many hundreds of victims as well as the successful prosecution of many perpetrators.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
