Indian-born and U.S.-raised Kaveri Subbarao is a lawyer, business strategist and an ardent champion of the underdog. One of her fortes is positioning and stewarding fledgling and well-heeled companies to achieve their optimal growth by leveraging imagination and innovation. Kaveri often serves as a corporate "turn-around artist" and change-agent, and strongly believes that sustainable revitalization of any business is achieved first and foremost by cultivating its people and empowering them to make their mark. She is a staunch advocate of living life in the superlative and delights in daring and encouraging people to create and showcase personal brands that are worthy of their talent and individuality. Kaveri is a zealous explorer of ideas, places and things that illuminate the human spirit and an outspoken activist for a more aware and engaged society. She has two darling, hockey loving children, Zhara (6) and Dylan (8), a wonderful husband, Jon, who (usually) appreciates her Type-A personality, and a mischievous K-9 kid (yellow Labrador), Crosby. Kaveri currently is the VP of Strategy and General Counsel for BRUNNER, a top 100 agency. Her blog chronicling the marvelous, Oh So Molto, will debut late spring 2014.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
