"MythBusters" ran for 14 seasons, which was plenty of time for Adam Savage, Jamie Hyneman and the Build Team of Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara to disprove all the tall tales they could. In particular, they challenged any number of myths created by the often farfetched world of movies.

Whether the movies were all-time classics like "Jaws," newer movies at the time like "The Green Hornet," or cult classics, the MythBusters took on a plethora of the strange and unscientific claims the movies often make.
