Hubert Lee, Mercedes-Benz Creative Director, shows the AMG Vison Gran Turismo Concept. The project came about when Polyphony Digital, the creators of the Gran Turismo franchise asked the German in house tuner to create a bespoke supercar for the racing simulator. Touching on cues from Mercedes classic sports car proportions with a long nose, short deck and dropped tail to create the AMG Vision. The body combines a stretched fuselage merged with spherical fenders, continued by the oversized rims that carry PlayStation logos. The front end was inspired by the 1952 Carrera Panamericana racecar, but being for the virtual 21st century, LED light effects take the place of a protective mesh grille.
