I found some old (2010) footage of the Mapogo lions that was never uploaded, possibly because of the terrible lighting. I have done what I can to make it view-able for all of the Mapogo lion fans out there.
Can you tell which three of the Mapogo males are featured here?
The Mapogo lions were found with a big buffalo bull they had brought down. A buffalo meal like this can sometimes last for days and other ties can be finished in under 24 hours.
Filmed in the Sabi Sand Wildtuin, Greater Kruger National Park, South Africa
There will be more of this "lost" footage coming in the future
