Amelia Warde is an Eco-Warrior.

Starting off as a little kid who got dumped with the role of 'compost monitor' to becoming a twelve year old with some big ideas. Amelia was picked by the Keep Australia Beautiful Association at the age of ten to become part of a new project called the LITTLE Committee made up of kids under the age of fifteen, and as a result she's met with the prime minister and worked alongside Natasha Stott Despoja.

Sounding wise beyond her years with insights into corporate responsibilities and capitalisation of corporate profit, Amelia brushes aside the stereotype of the 'throw away' generation, to spread a message about the environment.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
