To the Northwest of the Americas there is a land that wakes up every spring. A land in which the vegetation of the tundra begins, each year, a race to complete their life cycle in the short time that gives the warm season. It's the time when the grizzly bear, the largest in the world, wake up after enduring five months of fasting inside their den. We will follow in the footsteps of these giants plantigrades in their search for food to replenish the effort to nurse a baby during hibernation.

The main goal of the bear will be salmon, returning to the river that saw them born for sunset. Salmon are the ideal fat intake that bears need to recover. But not only this species depends on its arrival. The other inhabitants of Alaska are linked to the biological chain that begins with his arrival: the sea lions remain hungry until they appear, and if they arrive late otters can become orcas grass. In the hands of these fish (that are the real mana of Alaska's lands) will discover its complex ecological balance while accompany their pilgrimage up the river. They will have to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles, such as high jumps river upstream, or circumvent the lookout for their many predators.

We will see these fish odyssey driven by the imperative of reproduction and will discover the many species living life on the edge of the glaciers.
