Manaweblife took a six hour trip to the capital of Pahang, Kuantan, to experience a different kind of buka puasa atmosphere. This particular spot is in the city centre around the Sultan Ahmad Shah mosque at Jalan Mahkota and the open Kuantan stadium. The hundreds of Ramadhan stalls have all sorts of food varieties, some similar to those in the west coast and some uniquely different. One such is the lemang (glutinous rice) in pitcher plant. The result is slightly different as the rice is softer compared to those in bamboo or banana leaf. Another thing noticed is that most stall operators wear face masks while preparing food. Maybe for hygiene or to block the oil and smoke filled air. Nevertheless, take a trip here if you enjoy a different scenario to experience the buka puasa atmosphere away from the west coast. Come catch the buka puasa "fest" before Ramadhan ends.Like , share and subscribe to this lifestyle channel for all the interesting and eye-opening video uploads right away.
