Prep:1h
Total:1h
Serves:10

Ingredients:

100 g butter
4 tbsp golden syrup
250 g digestive biscuits / graham crackers
1 packet of Maltesers
75 g raisins
100 g milk chocolate
200 g dark chocolate
150 ml double cream

Step 1: Make The Chocolate Base Mixture

Using a small sauce pan, gently heat the butter and 2 tbsp of syrup. Once melted take off the heat and add 100 g of the dark chocolate. Stir until the chocolate has melted.

Step 2: Make The Base

Smash the digestive biscuits and a quarter of the Maltesers in a food bag with a rolling pin until you have biggish chunks. Pour into a mixing bowl, add the rest of the Maltesers and raisins and pour in the chocolate mixture. Stir everything together and then tip into a small greased and lined baking tray. Squash down with the back of a spoon and pop into the fridge to chill.

Step 3: Make The Topping

Heat the cream and 2 tbsp of syrup in a pan. Once it's hot, but not boiling, take off the heat and add 100 g of broken up dark chocolate and 100 g of broken up milk chocolate, then stir until the chocolate has melted and it has thickened up. Pour over the biscuit base and smooth over. Place back in the fridge to chill and set. Once set, cut it into small squares or slices and serve.
