By Spring of 1945, allied forces had successfully invaded Germany and liberated German-occupied territories. Hitler, rather than be captured, committed suicide alongside his new wife and longtime mistress, Eva Braun.
Although Hitler had put together a final will and testament the day before his death, he had handwritten an earlier version seven years prior, in 1938. Both versions contained instructions regarding Braun’s care, along with that of her immediate family. But what changes were made in April 1945? Here’s what was found in Hitler's last will.
