A kindhearted McDonald's worker from upstate New York says she was fired for picking up the bill for hungry firefighters who had just battled a blaze.

Heather Levia, 23, alleges she was canned from the Olean franchise after she dipped into her own pocket to pay $153 for the first responders' meals.
