The 2014 Mercedes CLS63 AMG packs a 550 horsepower twin-turbo V-8 engine under the hood. What better way to test all that power than at the local drag strip. That is exactly what our Road Test Editor had in mind. Unfortunately a clean run did not happen, but a 12.06 second ¼ mile run did happen! That is pretty amazing considering this full-size luxury car weighs 4277 lbs.
