Described by some as an Agent of Chaos and their General Do'er, Tabatha is a net-worker, opportunist, and innovator.

A former Canadian Federal Public Servant, Tabatha believes in public service and is using her experience to explore new ways to collaborate on complex policy problems and empower individuals and communities through the development of games. She believes that games can bring stakeholders together and explore issues in novel ways and in January she launched REStrukt, a game that facilitates whole-of-community resilience and stimulates dialogue and community learning.

Tabatha is also part of the Field Innovation Team, a consortium of designers, innovators and inventors who deploy to disasters to use cutting edge technology to respond to the needs of survivors.

Tabatha has a Masters in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford, a triple major from the University of Toronto.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
