The NX 300h is a hybrid compact crossover that is powered by the Hybrid Drive found in other Lexus vehicles. The 2.5 liter Atkinson-cycle engine combined with the electric motor make a total of 194 horsepower. The model tested here also has AWD and a CVT transmission.

A best 0-60 MPH acceleration time of 8.4 seconds was accomplished with the Drive Mode set to "Sport" and the Traction Control turned "Off"
